AceCo Employees Volunteer at Boise Food Bank - 1/19/12

Starting in 2012 AceCo employees will be volunteering one night a quarter at the Boise Food Bank. Our first night took place on January 19th. AceCo employees and some of their family members helped fill emergency boxes with canned goods. Way to go Team AceCo!

AceCo Precision Manufacturing announces that it is now an Employee-Owned Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boise, Idaho January -, 2012 – AceCo Precision Manufacturing (“AceCo”) is pleased to announce that it became an Employee-Owned company (“ESOP”) as of November 1, 2011 when the AceCo ESOP acquired 100% of the company from long-term Boise residents Raliegh Jensen and William “Bill” Moynihan. AceCo has been privately owned since 1960.

Raliegh and Bill agreed that transferring their shares to the AceCo ESOP was the best way to ensure the continued success of AceCo for the benefit of its employees, clients, and the Idaho economy as well as allow employee-owners to gain shareholder equity in the company. Raliegh will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of AceCo and Bill will continue as CEO.

Bill commented, “Given the ultra-competitive nature of our markets we wanted to create a team of employee-owners who manage and motivate themselves and others for great returns and rewards in the markets we serve”.

AceCo Employees Fill Donation Bins for Idaho Food Bank

During the month of December, the employees of AceCo brought in a variety of non-perishable food donations for the local food bank. The employee participation was fantastic - bringing in 450 pounds of food. An added incentive for the employees to donate to the food drive was a matching contribution the company announced...one dollar for every pound donated. The food and check delivery to the Idaho Food Bank during the holiday season was a great way for the employees of AceCo to end the year.

New 5-Axis Mill/Turn Machine Acquisition

As we were all digesting our Thanksgiving feasts some exciting things were happening at AceCo. We recently acquired a 5-Axis DMG/Mori Seiki Mill/Turn machining center with 2 pallets allowing us to run lights out. Training and machine qualifications are underway and we expect to begin production the first week of the new year.

AceCo Rakes Up Boise

Team AceCo volunteered to participate in Rake Up Boise 2011. AceCo employees and some of their family members raked up the lawn of a retired veteran, whose home was not very far from the AceCo manufacturing site. He sat outside and talked with the team while we cleaned up his yard. Having lost one of his legs, he was no longer able to rake up the piles of leaves that had fallen from his mature trees. The team had a great time getting to know the homeowner and stuffing over 25 bags full of leaves!
